Blue Moon Bay by Lisa Wingate - Review

Blue Moon Bay by Lisa Wingate was a very good book. It is about an architect, Heather who has to go back to Moses Lake where she spent part of her childhood and holds bad memories. She is going home to find out why her mom has not come to sign the papers to sell the land and funeral home. While there Heather deals with some issues that she has wanted to forget and not deal with, while working through the mystery of why her mom has not signed the papers to sell. This is a Christian book that has a bit of mystery and romance, while also dealing with family issues.  At first it was a little slow but the farther I got in the better it got, and I had a hard time putting the book down. I think a lot of people can relate to Heather in how she has moved away from her past and doesn't want to go back home, because she doesn't want to remember and deal with some of the things from the past. In the end it is not always bad to go back and deal with the past. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

I received a free copy from Bethany House Publishers to review.
