Back to School- Winter Theme

We are finally back into our normal schedule which includes some schooling throughout the week.  The holidays had us very busy with family in town, then I had a hand injury caused by my youngest and then we all came down sick at New Years with a nasty cold that we are still trying to recover from.  For the next couple of weeks we will be focusing on the theme of Winter.  We started the day off with reading Snow What Fun!

Then I had a different number activity for each child to work on the number skills they needed to work on. M worked on putting snowman's numbered 1-20 in numerical order.

A worked on this cute printable from Living Life Intentionally, where he had to place the correct number of snowman on the sheet to match the number placed at the top.

For their art project they each made a snowman puppet.  A's is on the left and M's is on the right.  You can tell they were not much into coloring today.  I cut A's out because he can't use scissors very well yet, but M cut all of hers out herself.  They enjoyed using their puppets to play with later.

We did a few other activities today but I will share some of them later this week.
